Another cummins suburban

So I am about to start assembling my 1990 cummins suburban. Few things to pick up ( like the frame) and it will be time to go.
Here is what I have so far and what it cost me. Net cost after selling parts off from trucks that I have purchased for individual parts.
1990 suburban 100.00 ( good body) sold rest for 700.00
1989 suburban 100.00 3/4 ton (for frame) sold remainder of parts for 620.00
1989 dodge 3500 single cab 1000.00 drive line and axles, sold parts for 200.00
rough country 6 inch suspension lift complete set for 300.00

So 1500.00 out so far for this project
1220.00 in

280.00 net cost so far.

I have been given a late model yukon xl that had a light rollover , I will use the leather interior if I can make it fit. the 5.3 will go in my 2wd suburban.
Lots of parts to offset the costs.

I know it will not stay this cheap but its a darn good start.
Lots of wheeling and dealing to get this far.

My buddy runs his own shop and he just finished his cummins ramcharger. As soon as he finished he said your next!

So off I go.
Wish me luck

whoops bought a he 351 turbo for 200.00 that blows my budget!

Actually my wife paid for it, late fathers day gift! Does that count against my running total?

Sounds like your off to a great start. If you can keep selling off bits and pieces to fund the project, it really helps allot.
Can't wait to see this one come together. Take lots of pictures!

Yep, my brother has built him some injectors and he's got quite a bit of stuff from us. Small world. Ken Porcher right?

Yea, if I could have, I would have slapped him through the phone lol. But on the bright side, there are new plans for that engine.
