Stepside bed with bumpers for sale! - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm selling the stepside bed off of my truck. It is in really good condition, only a few areas of concern. The biggest area is on the front lower portion of the left fender, it is rusted through. I have a patch area cut out of another original fender to be welded in, and it has been POR15'ed to stop it from spreading any further. Also on the driver's fender in the rear lower portion there is evidence of some past damage and repair. I can see some bondo in a scratch in the paint, but the best I can tell is it is a very thin layer of it. On the Pass. side fender one of the braces came loose sometime in the last 35 years and was left that way until I got it, it made a small hole that coulod be migged up fairly easily. Also there is a small dent on the lower rear portion of the pass. fender. The box itself has some minor pitting on top of the rails and has been drilled for a camper top I'd guess. There is also some slight pitting around the driver's side marker light. Have patches cut out of other fenders for that as well. Everything else is just minor surface rust. $500

I am also selling the original stepside sport bumper that is in the pics with the correct stepside gravel deflectors, I will try to find a new license plate box for it if you want since I cut it to put an ECE hitch on the truck. $50.00 SOLD!

I am also selling a never used repro stepside bumper that is chromed. $75.00 SOLD!!

I am going to be going to the board meet at Boss's house in July, so if you are on the way, or are planning on going I can bring it with me (disassembled)to save on shipping.

I've got near perfect fenders (spent less than a yr on the truck since new), just got a few bumps during Katrina, nothing that couldn't be bumped out. The bedsides I have were torn to crap by the toolboxes mounted on them since the truck was new.

The bumper brackets aren't included. I will have to wait until I get back from this job in Canada on the 31st before I can get an accurate weight to guesstimate the shipping.

Why don't you come down to the board meet in July and meet some great people and save on shipping!
