Pictures of engine bay wireharness

Got a 68 c10 recently but it came with no wireharness in the engine bay area...went to the junk yard and got a used wire harness ...now i have no idea what goes where..Does anybody have pictures of engine bay wireharness and lovations and colors..I've looked at diagrams on here but its lIke reading Chinese to me..any help would be greatly appreciated ..

This is in my 69.

The fuse panel under the dash is immediately on the other side of the firewall.

The white wire on the left of mine would normally be a fiberglass wrapped resistive wire for your points style ignition coil. I repinned it with a standard 16 ga wire for HEI. The resistive wire will be spliced and run to the smaller post on your starter solenoid away from the engine.

The heavy purple wire on the left runs to the smaller post on your starter solenoid towards the engine.

The tan wire on the left runs to the brake sensor on the master cylinder or proportioning valve.

The green wire on the left is your coolant temp sensor

You may not have or need all of the wires shown on the wiring diagram. For example, I don't have an electronic oil pressure sensor, I have a mechanical gauge. So I don't have a blue wire from the wiring harness on the left.
