Anyone got the SS front bumper

I was just wondering if anyone installed one of these and if so how did you do it and where did you get it from?

Re: Anyone got the SS front bumper

I’m just interested to see how it attaches to the existing bumper

By removing the bumper already there and bolting up the new one? Plastic bumpers don't belong on trucks IMO.

The SS goes over the factory bumper

Re: Anyone got the SS front bumper

i had one. they give you some double sided sticky tape to adhere it to the stripped down factory bumper. i ended up drilling some holes on the wheel well side and using some plastic push rivets to hold it in. It did look good but left alot to be desired with how it interacts with the factory grill shell and filler strip.

Re: Anyone got the SS front bumper

It looks like it sat kinda high on the bumper from what pictures I saw. Do you think if you lowered the bumper down by changing the brackets it would look better if worse? At the moment I’m not even sure if I am going to get one cause it costs more for the shipping than it does for the cover. I can’t find one on the east coast.
