Everyone's been going on about how the rear wheel arches on the new model stepside bed's don't match. What do you think about this? It's an old article we found. Looks factory... Tailgate is interesting too.

It does remind you of the old Broncos. Notice the absent backup lights.

We have a winner! I have seen similiar trucks running around Houston in the past. Notice the tailgate is 60-66 style. I have seen 73-87 trucks with the same tail lights too...

it IS a mexico truck. Saw a few with that style bed when i went to Chihuahua a few years ago.

Depending on how many trucks were produced in Mexico, would you say these fenders are rare? Do they make repos?

Still trying to find pictures of the prototype/design pics.

Off topic but I have kin folk that bring down ale-8's down when they visit. Good stuff, they live in Mt. Sterling. Back on topic, looks like a ford bed to me. And most people don't notice the difference in wheel openings unless I show it to them on my truck here in Arkansas.

My 67 had that same spare tire mount inside the bed but on the drivers side. I don't remember seeing many of these and for some dumba$$ reason I think it went in the scrap pile with what was left of the bed. The mount was rusted at the floor but could have been fixed. Are these rare or are they more common than I think.

I would have to agree with that, even with some 67-72 owners I have had to point it out.

look's like a medley od leftover parts to me, a stepside taile gate, no gas neck, etc. looks like a stepside bed with fleet sides added on. i guess those never made it to LA. i've never seen one here anyway.
