91 K 2500, need tranny info
I have a 1991 K2500. I believe I have the muncie 117mm tranny in my truck, the manual 4 speed. Is there another or alternate name for that tranny? My bell housing cracked and I need to find one, but I need the proper tranny info to do the search.

SM465 used in those years 88-91 in heavier duty or real plane jane trucks.

is the sm465 a different tranny than the 117mm. Something i read made me believe they are the same?
