Post resizing photos

can any one tell me how to down size my photos. I tried to crop them but still they come out to large(in bytes), are there any free sites that I can minimize them at?

You can also open them up in paint and resize them there. Just click on image then attributes and resize them with stretch and skew. Just decrease the percentages until you get to the size you want. I resized mine by 50% 4 times and then it fit. Jeff.
