Front is 2 1/2" disc conversion spindles and 2" drop spring for 4.5" drop. Fronts are 235 55 17 on 17x8 4" backspace (also zero offset) wheels.

I am THRILLED with the 17" rims and would do that again. In the rear I switched to the 71-72 wider axle housing to get right spacing for the wheels. I think they have plenty of rubber with the 55 series.

My opinion about which trucks look the best are that they didn't do too wide a wheel/tire combo in the front. And I like a little rake as well.

Nice stance indeed.

That drop is only 1” lower all around.

Looks good and give me an idea what mine might look like.

I don't have any pictures handy , my 68 had 255 70 on 8" wheels on the rear with 235 75 on the front , on a 7" wheel though , looked right. 235 70's on your 8" wheel should be right on for the look you describe , look forward to seeing it. Always thought this truck would be more perfect with a bit more front tire. The picture on my profile is not the 255's , both smaller.

Very sweet truck you have. I like the stance too. I thought about 255/70’s all around but I want to keep a little rubber rake stance if possible.

Keith, did you just change the springs for your drop?

Re: 255/70/15 rears, ?????? For the front

Think I’m go with 235/70’s on the front with 8” wide wheels. It will give me a little rubber rake but fill the front well some.

This truck has the same tire combo. Looks great.
