Re: Speedmaster downdraft

Its to good looking to have a hood over it covering it up...this injection system belongs on a vehicle that is open in the engine compartment, my opinion only....it sure is pretty......I installed a Holley EFI sniper on my 1972 blazer 4x4, for the money I think I made the right choice....I was not impressed with the HP increase on the speedmaster downdraft injection system but it sure looks great....

Re: Speedmaster downdraft

I bought one for a Ford 302 on close out. I paid about $400. Intake, throttle bodies, stacks, and fuel rails.

While you can't see it there is a common plenum connected via 1/4 holes to the individual throttle openings for a good vacuum signal (MAP)

There's also individual vacuum ports on each of the throttle bodies to help balance the throttle openings. I am using a megasquirt/microsquirt for a controller. I planned on installing it in my '50 Ford coupe but other projects keep getting in the way.

ooops, it that for an LS? No common plenum for that setup.
