Looks great! I'de like to do the same to my 05 GMC one of these days. Did you have to notch the frame?

Re: lowered my 05

With a 4/6 on a NBS truck you HAVE to notch the frame or the truck will be sitting on it out back. With my 2/4 on my '03 it hit quite frequently and I had 3/4" snubbers out back. There's quite a few ppl that are notching it with the 2/4. Even on the old body style 89-98 trucks you pretty much have to notch with a 4/6

Re: lowered my 05

yeah, i'm gonna wait a little while on the wheels. I didn't get the notch with my kit, so i'm waiting on it still. Drove it down the road and you can tell it hits. Other than that, i like the way it looks for now. Might just have to bag it down the road.

Re: lowered my 05

looks good. i dont come over a lot but will have to start. have been working on my older trucks. i have a 05 swb ext cab i went with a 2-4 drop w/20" wheels, rollpan, shaved the tailgate handle, ss elec mirrors and a gaylords bed cover. also have a ss front bumper cover but have not put it on yet. i did all of this when it had 39 miles on it, wife thought i had lost my mine. last week she brought home a 06 tahoe now she wants it lowered down w/20s

Nice stance! I just took the bags off mine and put the DJM 4/6 back on. I like that kit, it rides great....

Re: lowered my 05

that looks awesome!! its crazy how lowering makes your pickup look sooo much better. i only put a 2-4 on my 92 and it looks 10 times better( just wish i went with a 4-6) once you get some wheels youll really have something to cruise up and down main on saturday night.

Re: lowered my 05

Looks good, a notch will help out alot .. My truck was a 3/5 before bags and I had no notch and it would bottom out alot .. I only have a boltin notch right now but will be putting in a larger step notch and wheel tubs down the road ... loosk good, and I really like the newer base wheels, they look pretty cool to me for stock
