Interior color question

1970 C10 im restoring
I will be painting soon in hugger and white
The interior will obviously higher orange on the metal work it struggling with dash, door panels, and carpet color.
I like the look of black for these items but worried it will be too hot in the summer. Although adding vintage air next year
With that in consideration I was thinking possibly a sand, beige or saddle type color for the dahs, carpet and. Door panels
any pics for ideas greatly appreciated.
Thanks. Mark

Re: Interior color question

Pick what you want. The temp difference between tan and black will be unnoticeable. On a 100 degree day the cab temps will be 120 with tan and 125 with black. Do you get 100 degree days in Ohio? Hot is hot regardless of interior color.

Re: Interior color question

Do you want a stock, or close to stock look? If that's what you want, the dash, and doors, and the floor, plus kick panels, should be the basic body colour,Hugger Orange. The glove box, door panels, and gauge cluster panel were often painted to match or closely match the upholstery trim. Other possibilities include a black gauge cluster and matching glove box, or wood grain gauge cluster and glove box.
