It looks professionally built so he most likely has way more than that in it.

A build style that I totally love!!! And this is a beautiful example. But, i'll be the first to admit that getting your money back out of them can be difficult.

I agree Jason. You see it all the time at the Barrett Jackson Auctions. A 37 Chevrolet rod that cost 110,000 to build goes through at 55/60,000 and that is just life.

Re: No Sale at Mecum Kissimmee Auction

I bought a car at that auction that I've never seen yet... hopefully they're shipping it to me, but I haven't received an invoice yet to even pay for the car!

Re: No Sale at Mecum Kissimmee Auction

Clearly all the bidders are holding out for the K20 Cheyenne Super parade! Or maybe not. Anyway, very nice truck and agree probably more than that in it. Am guessing the gray kills a few potential buyers - but also, depends on the order in which the auction goes and whether there is a similar one bidders are holding out for.

Agree that white super swb is pretty darn sweet. Wish they'd show the SPIDs. If that's an original combo, it's quite rare. (Cheyenne Super with red buckets). It's absolutely gorgeous. prefer black bucket tracks/brake pedal arms, etc and factory black tilt column - but the white column makes sense with the aftermarket wheel. Sure is purdy.

Re: No Sale at Mecum Kissimmee Auction

for 60k +
I'd have a truck built to my personal likes.. but then again I'd rather one I can drive the wheels off of and enjoy, than one I'd fear a paint chip..
Seen way to many take a vehicle they drove all the time and then overdid the resto and paint and then never used it much and then sold it..
Looks killer, just not my cup of tea.. I'll take mine with some wear..

Re: No Sale at Mecum Kissimmee Auction

Nice trucks. Nice Pontiac Dave, the main reason I bought my 68 LeMans convert was it has power windows and A/C. Now has his hers and factory tilt plus a few other options that make it more desirable. Also has a 6.0 and overdrive. It needs a little work and a new home but I still love those Pontiacs.

Re: No Sale at Mecum Kissimmee Auction

That white Cheyenne is a nice hybrid. That's what I call that style of custom. Build one with your own personal touches added to be as if from factory, and maybe better. It won't have an original SPID show it that way. Red was not available.
