fuel cell in truck bed/ flush mount gas cap

I am facing the same gas tank replacement issue I am thinking about going with the 72 blazer tank but I have an ls1 motor... I think I would need to replace the in tank fuel pump???
I am wondering about how it would look?

get a normal fuel cell (aluminum) and put the pump in it. not sure if it will fit in the blazer/suburban tank

[62 Fleetside Longbed]

I am relocating the gas tank to underbed on my 62 fleedside longbed. Does anyone know what year of Suburban might fit.
