I sold a stator to one of my dealers the other day. Retail customer installed and said it didn't work. Dealer found this.

Re: Post your WTHeck? Pictures

Don't have a pic, but one of my younger brothers had a Husqvarna motorcycle that he broke one of the side cases on a rock. He took it in to get repaired, and the welder tried to arc weld it back together. It was a magnesium alloy. He was unsuccessful, so just melted holes in it. He's lucky it didn't just burn down to ash.

I believe that particular application calls for a Diablo blade.

No railroad crossing here. Just some railroad curving.

Re: Post your WTHeck? Pictures

The cat picture brought back some memories... of a snake.

Years ago I had my team out in the field and one of my Soldiers found a snake. Being Soldiers, we adopted it and brought it back to our team room. Every week we'd feed it a pinkie, and it seemed to be a happy snake. One day the pet store was out of pinkies, but they had a little mouse that was about a week old. No problem, we've got this bad-dude snake mascot and he'll just wolf him down, right?

Except the mouse had a different idea. As the snake was trying to strangle the mouse, the snake put its face a little too close. The mouse bit the snake, the snake let go, and after about three weeks without eating we finally let it go, hoping it would find some insects or some other harmless food it wasn't afraid of.

On one hand, someone went to a lot of work to accomplish that.

On the other hand, a '57 died for that...

Kinda WTHeck, as in, what the heck my truck shrunk! Never noticed just how small my truck is between a couple of my co-workers rigs. Least I don't need a step ladder to get in the bed!

I was just complaining about this the other day. Modern trucks are like schoolbusses. Makes your truck look like one of those little VW trucks from back in the 70s/80s

Re: Post your WTHeck? Pictures

I was at a Dollar store this morning.
One of the employee's walked out with
the customer who bought
150 mother's day balloons.
And then the employee came back with 30 balloons.
So if you ever wondered how many balloons
you could fit in a SUV and still be able to drive it.
There is your answer.

Re: Post your WTHeck? Pictures

What a great idea for a thread! I'll have my GF email some of the volcanic eruption pics from Krakatoa last summer so I can get those up. I'll try to get some of my India photos scanned so I can post those as well. I saw lots of crazy things while in India.

Here is a Pak 750 jump plane upside down during a "split-S" dive back to the airport for the next load of jumpers. I jumped three times from this airplane that day but paid $25.00 to go along for a ride and it was worth every penny! The dive was near vertical and we beat all the skydivers down from 15,000 feet.

No sissy 4x4 posts needed for this fence! Drive shafts! Wish the pic was better, but the front yard and down the sides lined with painted driveshaft's.
