66 Glove Box Emblem Color
My unmolested, (I think), emblem is unpainted grayish/silver including the letters. I saw a sales brochure that shows it with a black emblem and plain letters. LMC sells one that has black letters.
Anybody know the proper color? |

I can't swear mine was original, but here it is just for comparison - sounds like what you described. Someone else will have to confirm from a known original though.

66 is grey with black letters I believe, 64 and 65 were black with silver letters, those years are not repopped.
