Re: your dogs and your truck

Picture of truck just coming back from being painted. This is Frankie, he's a puggle, beagle and Pug. Had him since he was 6 weeks old, he's now 12 1/2, has congestive heart failure, on drugs. Loves to ride in the truck, stands on seat and puts front feet on dash and looks and shifts of everything. Gone miss him so much.

A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than you love yourself.

Re: your dogs and your truck

These guys, Marlowe & Sam, were with my Wife & I from November of '02 until late September '15 & October '16 and were the best dogs you could ever ask for. We still miss them, but have comfort knowing that Oliver is from the same family line.

Re: your dogs and your truck

Yes I can help but it takes time and you have to commit, also it is much easier to have a breed of dog that what is called in the dog world as a natural retriever most sporting dogs have this inherated instinct ,like Labs .goldens . some pointing breeds also ,it gives you a leg up ,Most Bird dog breeds are best suited ,Like my Baraque du borbannais.

the bringing( retrieve) to you is the easy part , its getting the beer out of the refrigerator that becomes difficult for a dog ,( opening thing ) the frig door handle is a challenge for a dog ,I found that if I tie a dish towel to the handle it becomes much easier

I apologize to the OP for answring this question so not to change the main subject here Dogs and trucks , you can private message me I I can help you start your training.

Lola (bull mastiff and Azorean cattle dog) loves big red and going for rides, but she doesn't like how loud my 67 is.

Re: your dogs and your truck

My dog is a two year old Goberian named Tupit. She was barking at my Blazer yesterday. I usually back in is the only difference . I was trying to solar heat the interior before going to town. She barks at anything that is a change in the driveway.
