I'm not sure where to post this question, but was wondering who all is heading up to Good Guys Nashville next weekend. We would like to meet any members that are going to be there. We plan to take Chad's (CC69Rat) truck.

FRCvette, we didn't make it to the NSRA. We are still putting the finishing touches on Chad's truck. We are trying to make it up to Nashville next weekend.

I will be there... Not sure where I'll be parked, but just look for my '68. If you want, send me a PM and we'll try to park close together. I'll have a canopy and several cold drinks and water... Has to be no-sugar as I'm diabetic, but you're welcome to hang out... Love to meet other guys who love these C-10's!

I normally parallel park close to the river, but will take whatever I can find...

Having just gotten bit by the truck bug again and getting a c10 to build is this a good show and are there a lot of vendors that woo be there ?

There will be a bunch of vendors there... However, they are not necessarily specific to GM C-10 trucks.

I guess my reply would be depending on what you are interested in. If you want C-10 specific stuff, not a great show. However, there will be a LOT of C-10 trucks in attendance. So, great for ideas and to meet people. And, lots of vendors will have C-10 parts, just not specific C-10 vendors. Roadster Shop, No Limit, Scott's will all likely be there. And, lots of other vendors have C-10 stuff too. Ride Tech, and most of the vendors have C10 stuff. You won't likely find a lot of sheet metal stock on hand, or specific parts, but it's still a great show!

IF you want to come to Nashville and have specific C-10 parts; try the GM Southeast Truck Nationals in July in Hendersonville. It's only C-10 trucks, and there will be hundreds of trucks there. It's a pretty awesome show too!

Thanks for the reply. I just finished building an x275 drag radial car and wa Ted a nice cruiser so having had a 72 in high school I found a swab 71 to build. So I like hot rods in general just wasn’t sure exactly what I could expect to see there. Thanks again

Guys: Change in plans. The folks from Griots Garage have invited me to park my truck in their booth as a display. Not sure if it's a good or bad idea, but am honored to be chosen, so I told them I would do it. Make sure to swing by and see my truck!

Well, guess I should have waited 2 years rather than building one.... Since it's the one I styled mine after anyway...

It would be cool to park them together. Ill look for you. I will be trailering mine in on Sat morning, off loading in the parking lot and driving in. I'm jut staying or the day, I dont want to leave the truck overnight.
