Valve cover leak on intake?

I noticed small amounts of oil on my intake, maybe half a teaspoon in each of the low spots. This is ona two year old crate 350.Will leaking valve covers leak at the top? Seems to me more oil would leak on the lower side of the valve covers. I don't see any oil on the lower edge on the side of the engine, only on the intake. I also found a small puddle of oil where the water pump mounts on the left side of the block (looking from the front), I can't see a trail of oil to it and can't figure out where it's coming from. Any ideas?

The intake manifold bolts on each side other than the front and rear ones thread into the valley under the intake. There needs to be a sealer put on each bolt such as ARP thread sealer when you install the bolts. that will keep the oil from seeping up and puddling in the pockets.

Thanks, I thought it was odd the valve covers would leak like that, didn't know those bolt holes went through. I'll pull them and seal them up tomorrow.
Thanks again!
