Adjusting hood for flushness 81 & up

I did some reading on the hood adjusting. It was way out after putting a NOS hood on the truck. It ended up being a pretty easy fix. Looks a whole lot better. The first photo is after the hood was swapped. I wish I would have gotten a better photo, but the hood is up higher than the fenders by 1/4". Up front the hood sets back in from the fenders, it wasnt flush at all. Plus the hood would not shut easily.

Loosen these 2 bolts on the the hood, on both sides. Then with the hood still open, push the hood up a bit further. This will make the back end of the hood, by the windshield cowl lower. It might take several tries to get the right location. The hood can be pulled forward or pushed back also, to make the hood flush with the fenders in the front.

Now off to get some paint in a couple of weeks, FINALLY!!
