Where Do You Find Them?

I started this thread for members to post where they found a particular model and any other helpful info. Posts are welcome to list a link to a favorite website. This can be the next best thing to having a marketplace. I think we could use a sub-forum for our stuff for sale.

Re: Where Do You Find Them?

I'm still looking for any sources for old medium duty trucks. Preferably AD series. I just need the frame, wheels, and axles.

Re: Where Do You Find Them?

Try this database. www.rocketfin.com/resin-model-cars-trucks.cfm
Also see if you can find a Italeri 556354 1/24 Opel Blitz . It is a 2 ton with all chevy running gear. Opel was a German GM.
There is one on Amazon now at this address: Amazon.com: Italeri 556354 1/24 Opel Blitz... Amazon.com: Italeri 556354 1/24 Opel Blitz...

Re: Where Do You Find Them?

I sent an email to the address in the second link and an owner of the AD medium duty said he would check and see if he still had it but I've heard no response yet.

Re: Where Do You Find Them?

I started a thread in "Site Feedback" suggesting we get a sub-forum here for buying & selling. You all should go give it some support,if you agree.

Re: Where Do You Find Them?

I had all four of the HW Garage '70 Chevy Blazers, but the red one was loose. I never see those much of anywhere. I don't go to Ebay all the time and don't always think to search for those, but I've really wanted to find that red one in package to hang with the others. Well, last weekend I went to the Jalopy Showdown in PA and at night went over to Willow Springs Race Track to see World of Outlaws run. Camped out there so I could hit the flea market by the track at the old Amusement Park. There's a guy there who always has something good for me to buy. I know where he has the better stuff and walked straight over there where I saw my red Blazer...BAM! He also had that Treasure Hunt '56 Flashsider with red wheels and www tires that I bought for way less than I see on Ebay. Too bad I spent all my money at the swap meet at Jalopy Showdown because this guy had a lot of great limited run HWs. Oh yeah,I also bought a custom imprint '34 Coupe they had made for the '10 Jalopy Showdown. So,a great weekend for collecting all together

Re: Where Do You Find Them?

That's an excellent model kit resource..thanks!

I was thinking about these '70 Blazers and it occurred to me that they have never been offered as a mainline Hot Wheels, only special issues... "Hot Wheels Garage" and "Archie" TV series. Have there been others only offered as lower production?
