As someone looking to accumulate the "must haves," I'm definitely interested in knowing those tools y'all think are indispensible.

For me, the nifty headlamp. Can't beat it for working on the old truck at night in the garage.

Black Sharpie, florescent drop light, Clecos, 8" level, Fast Orange hand cleaner, good creeper, radio, knee pads. Most useful expensive tools? Plasma cutter and hand-held band saw

Spring compressor for 1988 up chevy truck door hinges. It's near impossible to get the spring back in after replacing bushings/hinge pins. $19.99.

mine is home made for about 20 bucks air over water heater core flush tool made from various fittings just hook up air and water hose give it a few bursts to clean also has been used as a power washer

My angle grinder (close to $50) but best cutting tool for bolt head that I have....SawzAll is still my best cutting tool though ...Can you tell that I am still in demo phase!

Definately my angle grinder has earned it's keep. 30yr old farm trucks don't tend to come apart without some persuasion. And a 5" bench vice. And my snap-on side cutters. and I use my good gasket scraper a bunch. It's not a razor style, it's got about a 1" wide blade and has a screwdriver handle.
