after a few waxings and lots of washes. this is how she looks. originally Light Medium blue with white roof and white bumpers and factory lower side moldings. hoping to have her back to factory stock one day. only brought her for 400 bucks. she runs and drives like a champ. have all of the paperwork and numbers matching 327 and TH400 transmission too.

Re: CUSTOM CAMPERS lets see them!

I've had a thing for Custom Campers for a long time. I've always liked camping and I love GM trucks. So,the two just came together and at one time I had five,a '70 C/30 CST 157",a '71 C/20 Cheyenne w/camper,a '72 K/20 Cheyenne Super,a '72 K/20 Highlander,and a '72 K2500 Sierra. I've also had two Camper Specials:a '78 C30 Scottsdale and an '84 K/30 Silverado. Those are cool,they have teepees on the b-pillar. My '92 K3500 SLE has the camper package,too.

No, it was actually silver with and off white. I believe I am the 4th owner, and the second owner is the one who painted, and the hood ornament, and debadged it. It now says "Cool Truck" on the fender with a 3/4 Ton badge underneath it on the drivers side, and I just got a grille bowtie for it last year. I wish it still had the Custom Camper emblems though, they are pretty neat looking.

It looks like Daddy Brim's truck in post 2 could be a cousin to mine.

haha cool! have you ever checked to see it the previous owner bondo'd the holes? if so you could pop out the holes and find some of those emblems and put them back on. what are your plans for it? gonna remove the hood oranament? are you keeping the 71 72 bumper? and did your truck have lower side molding?
