i cut my own wood and ordered the strip kit from classic industries for a 55 chevy half ton and just cut them to length.

Im still doing it orange i just wanted to splash some paint on it to stop it from rusting its been about 18 months bare steel and its pretty dry in southern alberta and just when it rains you can see it rust a little. I work over seas right now month in month out so i just wanted to get some paint on it.

Re: 86 Chevy C10 Build

I love your build. The metal work is amazing. What did you use to get all the clean cuts for your sheet metal work? I wish I had the tools to do that kind of metal work. What engine is in that thing?

Re: 86 Chevy C10 Build

Do you have a newer pic of under your hood after it is painted? I did the same concept for my wheel wells in the front with the trailer fenders. Just wanted to see your finished product.
