Not for my truck, but In support of my truck - a 70's vintage (and in very nice shape), Snap On roller took box, middle section and top tool box - $200. And I still am amazed. I'd like to get another but never will at that price.

I bought my snap on roller tool Box at a garage sale for $300.I have the same awesome sticker!!

My Wow moment was bolting a remanufactured Quadrajet on it, to replace the old decrepit one. Big difference. That was the point when I realized I could replace a few light bulbs, parking brake cable, and horn, and drive it up to get inspected and registered for the first time since sitting in a field for 30 years.

Pulling the diff cover off of the 1969 rearend that came with the trailing arm frame I bought for my rig, and finding a posi-traction carrier in there with 3.73 gears.

Going to an inventory reduction auction at a local tire shop and purchasing a day 2 NOS 1969 grill both outer and inner for $35

Soon after starting to teardown my truck for its restoration in 2010, I visited my favorite salvage yard and discovered that they'd just gotten about 12 trucks, 2 or 3 Blazers and a Suburban. Most were fairly well optioned and unmolested. Of course, most of the sheet metal was toast from Wisconsin winters. I got an uncountable number of parts including a couple of truck tilt columns, a set of shoulder belts, 3 consoles, instrument clusters, bracket sets, mirrors, a couple of hoods, jacks and many fasteners. As a bonus, I got 2 AM/FM van radios (which I've converted to look like the truck radios) and 4 van tilts.

The prices were great. For example: tilts and hoods were the most expensive at $50 each; radios were $10 and $15; shoulder belts were $10 or $15; consoles were also $10 or $15. And ,they didn't charge me for many of the small items and hardware.

Definitely many WOW moments!!
