Wasted Income, Don't worry. I have a "real" 2wd and I am jealous of your "fake" 2wd! That is one awesome looking ride.

Wow...that's a wrap? Looks good...got a build thread or anything on it?

Did you do the wrap yourself? I'm considering a few options for my Nova and a wrap is one of them...

*****

Scratch those questions...found the build thread. Looks awesome! I didn't realize in these pictures that it's not matte but the brushed metal finish. I saw that mustang at Sema and loved the look. Hopefully I'll make it out to Hot August nights and see this bad boy in person!

Blacknorange,
I think I parked mine next to yours at the Ace Hardware on Clayton Rd. several months ago. Did you drive it with the top off?

Wow, It's come a long way from where you started. I'm pretty sure thats
one I looked at it before you bought it. I spy a 65 SS Nova in the back ground too.

Re: How many 2 wheel drive blazers do we have?

It's the factory single wall top that I repainted. I will post more pics later that's the factory medium blue that one of the previous owners sanded but not all the way so it has a patina look. With some bare metal areas but I clear coated it with satin so it's protected the drop is 5.5 in front and like 8 in rear

Re: How many 2 wheel drive blazers do we have?

I had a 72 2wd Blazer when I got married. Blue with a white top, no real options other than ps & pb. It was a 350, 3 speed, 4:11 posi. Fastest thing in town for the first block
Seeing some of these beautiful trucks makes me kinda sad......

Re: How many 2 wheel drive blazers do we have?

Got some more work done last weekend. You can see the faux-tina in this photo. My dad was a little irritated that I "ruined a good paint job"

And the logo is a throw back to the company that 3 generations of my family worked for. (except me... they closed operations back home in 1985.)

more photos in the build thread!

Didn't last 24 hrs on Craigslist. Person who bought it pretty much bought it on the phone. Sent a guy with cash and a tow dolly and it was gone. It really needed everything. I sold it back in 94 to a friend. He was going to do a frame on lite restoration. Most of the work completed was amateur at best. I just didn't have the place to do the frame off that it deserved. I bought it back from him in 2010 after it sat in pieces for about 7 years. The front clip was off along with the doors. Brought it home and put it back together and had it running again but like I said all the work he did to it was going to have to be repaired or replaced. The front floor pans and rockers were a disaster. I know I probably won't find another one I could afford to buy but I already have 72 Blazer and GMC Long bed. Not enough time, finances or a place to store them all, much less to keep them all up.
