OK, I'll add my 64 to the mix. Just got it last month and starting to work through the problems that always show up, like an 8ga wire for the battery cable to the started and a floor shift conversion that hits the seat and tail lights that don't work. I'm just amazed of the wiring issues I almost always find in an old vehicle.

Up on jack stands in the front. Re-wired the starter and HEI and it actually fired up after 12 years of sitting!!
Just pulled the tank out last weekend and ordered a new sending unit and filler neck. Start, Stop and Steer....getting ready to cross one of those off the list.

My 64 4x4, I traded a guy a dodge flathead engine for it in 1978. Truck was a cab and chassis no bed when I got it. Drove it till 1982, started rebuilding until 1986 when it was put away in my garage.

First post in this forum!! Here is my 64 Stepper. I've had her about 6 months. Put a 2-3 drop immediately and am going to push it to 4 1/2-6 while she is apart in the garage.
