"Truth is, you don't even need an attorney, but for 2K, it's worth it to ensure the process. "

2K ? The only winner were the attorney's .

Agree to disagree .Settle and walk away ... OR Kiss and make up . It's cheaper to keep her ...

Dollars to donuts anything after the first is the most difficult. In my case we were married 32 and it was straight forward. Last week was the most expensive week of my life.

It's not all bad. Over the last two weeks I've picked up La-Z-Boy for both houses for $850. The stuff retailed a year ago for $5500. Something to be said for second hand. The bulk of it as good as new, and far better than what I'd find for myself new, La-Z-Boy or otherwise. Lady has taste. Showroom designer for large co. Never got excited about furniture before, I guess I'm part housewife now., I mean

Saw my mother go through a second divorce. Wasn't pretty, and went to appeals court too.

The death of a marriage is very similar to what I went thru with my wife's passing , its very difficult at best . Have a friend that his wife walked out on him and his 16 year old daughter and moved in with another guy after 28 years of marriage ,it is tearing him apart . He is a good christian man that never cheated on her and he is heartbroken .

Divorce times two or so, in both instances, IMO. Sorry for your loss, that's a tough one.

My situation is similar the last example, only my ex-wife's partner was Christianity. How's that for a twist? There are many reasons for our divorce, and her religion was one. Don't get me wrong, I'm God aware myself, but she's over the top IMO, and there are good reasons to believe why.
