Aftermarket 1967 GMC K15 Lockouts?

Could anyone tell me who makes these? I can only find Mile Marker online but they're $300+ I would like to find something a little more economical.

Re: Aftermarket 1967 GMC K15 Lockouts?

The Warn 9070's don't work. They don't slide far enough into the hub for the O ring to seal correctly. Does anyone know anything about the Warn Lock-O-Matic's? I know where I can get a set of the M31E's but am unsure if they are a correct fit.

I have them on my K20.... don't know anything specific about them for your '67, though.

I can probably help if you have questions about how they work.

After some research the warn-o-matics I thought would work are only for a K20. I just can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

I found mine on E-Bay. took a while but I kept watching and behold two pair showed up at the same time. Be patient and resilent, they'll appear.

Did you find factory or aftermarket? I've been watching there too but so far no luck.

Re: Aftermarket 1967 GMC K15 Lockouts?

About a month ago a set of Dana Spicer locking hubs (used) showed up and a set of Mile Marker locking hubs showed up as well (new). I bought the Miler Marker...ie Selectro hubs because the Dana Spicers were beat to hell. And half the price of new ones.

Re: Aftermarket 1967 GMC K15 Lockouts?

Well you have 3 options then -
1. Use Mile Marker (Selectro) easiest to find and replace due to availability.
[IMG][/IMG]

2. Warn model M8 like in the pic. But good luck finding some and the rebuild kit.
[IMG][/IMG]

3. Dana Spicer model. Only can find used and most are chewed up so bad you don't want them anyways. But keep an eye out for a good one, just in case.

by the way all three were considered Dealer installs. As the 1/2 ton trucks were factory full time hubs.

Re: Aftermarket 1967 GMC K15 Lockouts?

my spicer ones are a little beat up but work great. Mitch where did you get the info about only dealer installed? not trying to disprove you, just interested.

Re: Aftermarket 1967 GMC K15 Lockouts?

If my truck would've had Spicers already on it and worked I'd use 'em till they fell out! But if I have to pay half of what new costs then I want some that aren't all chewed up on the inside too. Most of what I found sitting in the junk pile were beat up and they wanted my grandpa's gold teeth for 'em. LOL
I saw a sales brochure for '62 4x4's and it stated full time 4x4's with dealer option of locking hubs. But it was leaning toward the comfort of all time ready 4x4 by just pulling the t-case lever to engage.

Re: Aftermarket 1967 GMC K15 Lockouts?

Ok thanks for your input guys I'll probably just go with the mile markers unless I stumble on some of the other used ones in the near future.
