Question Vehicle Transportation??

does anyone have a good, reputable vehicle transport company to recommend? I have found a few vehicles to replace my truck (sniff sniff) and would like to start looking into what it will cost to transport. I know there are many services online, but I value the opinions of you guys!!!

as a reference, I live @ 66216 and am looking at a vehicle in Chandler, AZ and Detroit........

Re: Vehicle Transportation??

What ever you do for transportation, dont deal with a broker! Deal direct with the trucking co. I haul cars and have delivered some horror stories dropped at our term.

Re: Vehicle Transportation??

Doug,

There's a guy on the HAMB that does this for a living, he advertises there.

X2 on not dealing with a broker. I guy bought a 'burb from me and had it shipped to FL. Truck drivers started calling me and each one had a different story. All they knew was they had a ticket to pick up a truck, no idea what town, etc... One would cry about it's too far off his route, another that he couldn't make the turn, another that I had to be there and on and on for several weeks. Even had some no-shows. And it wasn't even my responsibility. Must have heard from 6 different drivers until one day it just disappeared from my parent's place.

Re: Vehicle Transportation??

Fly and drive it back!!!! is exactly what I am going to do once I find what I am looking for. If not fly buy it and deliver it to the transport company directly.
If I buy a real high end vehicle that I am looking for I am using this company
http://www.reliable-carriers.com/default.cfm

I have heard great things about Mike here in the site and I would use him If I buy something on his side of the states.
