Anyone Running 50 Series Tires?

I finally picked out which wheels I am using for my first '69 SWB (yea, I was dumb enough to decide to restore two of these trucks at once!) Anyhow, I am running 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear Boss 338's. I see most everyone running 25540's on the front and 29540's on the rear. This truck is dropped 5" in the front and 7" in the rear (static). I really want the tires to have about the same sidewall heights with about a 1" difference back to front (rear being taller obviously). My question is, has anyone used 25550's front and 29550's rear??????

Re: Anyone Running 50 Series Tires?

Welcome to the board!

I did relatively the same thing, only I used 45 series on my GMC build. You can see the wheel/ tire in relation to the sidewall.

Being as low as your truck is, Im not sure 50s would work.. but you might get away with 45 series.
