Do you guys think this looks like a 3in drop in the front to you guys? I just added a 3in drop spring and it doesnt look like it. I wish i would have measured it first. (the back is a 6 in drop with lowering blocks)

Is there a motor in that truck? That will play a roll in how far it drops down.

Yes it has a 350 in it. Granted they were old original springs but i really thought it would be a big difference in drop

Cut one coil off your new springs, that should get you where you want to be.

That looks about right, I did the front of my 69 3", looks about the same. You have any before pics?

Looks like stock height. Did you compare the spring lenght to the old one when you took them out?

I think once it's driven the front will come down.

Is the back 6" drop coil PLUS the block.?

Front doesn't look very low to me....3 plus a 2" spindle should take it down to the edge of the tire

If you just sat it down off the stands it will still be bound and will not sit where it will after its moved. You can try to turn the wheels back and forth a few times all the way and it may settle then if it dont run.

Its been on for 2 months now and i have driven it too and still no difference.

Yes its a 4 in drop spring and a 2in lowering block in the rear. Im hoping with a 2"drop spindle in the front it will even out

Absolutely right! It needs to be driven for the suspension to settle. When I posted my build thread all of the snarky little boys that can't build anything were saying , "That can't be a 3.5 in drop because the space above the tire is HUGE". Well, here's the before driving & after driving shots. It settled almost 2 inches! The only difference in the truck before and after was the installation of the interior and 500 miles on the clock! It will settle.

This happened to my 65 Mustang. There was in initial settlement when I drove it around a bit and all was great. After a few thousand miles it dropped almost another 1/2" and now my car sits too low and my car scrubs on hard turns with "speed". So now I have to go back and raise my car 1/2"

However, to the OP, sitting from my arm chair, your truck looks the same as my stock height truck. It should have at least dropped a couple inches immediately. Did you index the springs correctly?

My truck has no drop, just old original springs.

I did the 3" drop coils in the front and 4" in the rear. Mine set about where your is. Just need to put some miles on it. Did you have any steering tie rod clearance issues?
