not getting fire on 5.3l

i have a 02 tahoe 5.3l vortec 4l60e trans 2wd. i had gone out this morning to start the tahoe and it wouldnt start. i checked the fule to make sure that it was getting fule it was. so then i checked the fire nothing i hocked a test light up to it and a timing gun nothing. i have checked all the fuses but nothing it just seems odd. if anyone has any ideas about what it could be i would greatly appreciate any feedback.

My 5.7 did something similar and it was the crankshaft position sensor. A cheap and easy (2 bolts) fix. About $35.00

I don't think it's the crank sensor. I think it's in the ignition it is hard to turn over some time into the on position. I also can never get the ignition to turn into the backwards aux position.

Check for ignition voltage at the coils, MAF, & Injectors.
