aftermarket wire harness power

I am installing a ez wire 21 circuit harness in my 72 c10. I hooked the solenoid power wire to the main starter lug---- is this where the fusebox gets its main power? or am I missing something? or where am I missing power to the fusebox? TY

Re: aftermarket wire harness power

to make the connection work, you need to add 12V+ power from your battery
and route it to the starter. im gonna assume that the connection from the fuse box is a power source wire.
