Clutch fork pivot ball

Getting ready to do my swap and was looking at the pivot ball in the bellhousing. It was worn, however person I bought it all from included a brand new one when I bought the setup from him. I noticed that neither had the threaded stud that is designed to keep the pivot fork in place. When I look at parts websites, they all show pivot balls with the threaded stud. The fork does have the slot for the stud.

I'm seeing overlap with the stud version listed from 88-95, and the non-stud version going from 85-90. This bellhousing is a '93 so it should have the stud version. The 2 I have look like the 2nd from the left, while the far left is the one shown for a 93.

Any ideas?

Re: Clutch fork pivot ball

Honestly, I'm not familiar with things for this year. (My '70 has a simple ball and uses a clip.) It looks like the three on the right are intended for use with the wire clip to hold the fork to the ball, while the one on the left has a more positive restraint and uses a nut. Very interesting.
