After what seemed like an eternity since the last time I worked on my "Dream Truck" I finally got a chance, and my family and I made it an EVENT!
My wife removed the old molding off of the bed, my son cleaned the front seats, and I worked on floor fab for the new front seats all while my 1 year old played with a shop magnet.. All in all it was a great day.. |

Tomorrow I'll be completing the bracing under the floor, completing the floor to trans tunnel, and wrapping up installing the front seats... The rear seats are also installed with the exception of the lower hinges to floor which I hope to have done tomorrow...

I appreciate everyones feed back. I had posted my crew cab for sale a few times this last year since it has been extremely challenging to find the time to get it done but each time I couldn't bring myself to sell it. Now it is time to finish what I started, and more than likely I'll be buried in this truck... Seat completion photos coming soon!

Floor is just about about done... All that's left is bracing and I can begin setting up the seats! I'm stoked with how the floor turned out.
The 2007 model 24 Valve cummins is a little longer than the 12v cummins so I need to make more room... Once the seats are set I'll be turning to the firewall in prep for dropping in the drive train... I'm Stoked! Last edited by OYMC; 04-30-2012 at 12:20 AM. |

Okay I need a little help from everyone. A while back I posted this photo to share with you the basic styling I will be going for on my build I.E. Molding, color, grill, bumpers, etc...
Does anyone know who owns this truck so that I can get a paint code from him or her (A lot hot women GM Truck owners out there.... My wife being one of them  )?Any help would be appreciated, but I'm not looking for guesses, I already have plenty of those... |

Ordered my tires today! 37X13.50X17 Toyo MT's from Les Schwab, and I'm headed out to pick up a super clean 73-87 manual shift tilt steering column from off of craigslist . I can't tell you how hard it has been to find this column...
