I got nothing keeping me here, and need to figure this out!

Try to work out a cruise this October, might just keep you here... and you don't really want to be a greeter, I see you more the guy driving the motorized basket grabber in the parking lot, shaking your arm around like a bull rider.

Re: tuba trucks

going to throw a little progress of the faux-tina truck on here because i don't want a page to be without pictures… whats new with this truck is the top was reworked and painted then unpainted. also the interior has some changes and the engine compartment got some attention. the cammed up little 327 sounds awesome and pretty soon… tina's going on a boat ride.

Re: tuba trucks

there's just something about an old school set of rallys with rings and caps. this is like a hotrod truck from the 70's. should be able to finish the aging process and hit it with matte clear this week and then its carpet, exhaust, chrome trim and tailgate… getting close.

Thanks for the chit chat the other night, I agree about my metal skills getting better but they're way short of "killing it" like the way you knock'em out.

Re: tuba trucks

Interior is hitting it out the park.

Get Pete to do a video of engine and upload to my or anyones Toutube to enjoy.

Still going to have many days n nights of regret for not buying this truck first.

I guess the only consolation is that I have one already that needs finishing.

Looking great Clem and team.

The boat ride will end up in massive smiles.

That is exactly right... though its hard to think of body work as much fun, it is rewarding.

Thanks Greg, it was good to talk to you. I think your metal skills are off the charts and anytime you want you can help us knock'em out...

You have a very fine truck ahead of you and when done... you'll be tearing up the roads over there, even from the wrong side of the street.

Re: tuba trucks

I roughed in what I wanted in soft tubing and sent it to Finelines. They made them in stainless and I got 4 sets. I think they charged $35 per set. No way could we bend them that nice in stainless. I've used all 4 sets on other trucks and need to order more. After the coil they drop straight down 3 feet, we then made the simple bends to the proportioning valve.

Want a set for steiner?
