sm465 conversion

Looking to put a sm465/np205 in place of my 400/205. my cab is a 64gmc sitting on a 84 k10.Plan on getting capt fab parts for the cab components. I have a newer 383 so I'll need a weighted flywheel. I know AA has kits for the clutch slave But I also have a 65 c60 and a 66 c20 with hyd clutch. Can I use the slave components off of one of them?

Double check that your 383 isn't internally balanced. My 400 scat crank is.

As far as your swap goes. Get the frame bracket and z bar for a square body and pedal assembly for a 60s truck. Then you will only need to fab the linkage between the pedal and z bar. The 60s hydraulics would probably run the hydraulics on a squarebody hydraulic clutch but those bellhousings are unique. The lines and slave cylinder for an 86 1 ton should get you a cast cylinder.

Thanks. yeah I'm not using anything off that c60. Gonna just go manual clutch. I need to find a square with a stick to scavenge some parts off. Just got the trans and tc home. gotta pull it apart to twin stick before I get to far ahead of myself

Re: sm465 conversion

Classic parts used to sell the z bars. Frame side is nothing more than a chunk of angle.
