Remove/sell complete roll bar?

Anyone ever remove a full roll cage completely assembled from their Blazer? I'd prefer either no roll bar or a family style cage. This Bronco Bob cage was installed by the previous owner, and I might need to unbolt it to do some work that is being blocked by it. Just wondering if I should just pull it completely and try to sell it complete.

Re: Remove/sell complete roll bar?

When I bought my 71 in 2011, it had a 6 point roll bar in it. I took it out in one piece all seats out, top off, etc. I sold it because it was an ac truck and the front posts blocked the end dash vents and prevented the glove box door from opening fully. Sold it almost immediately. Should have kept it because they are pretty rare aftermarket pieces. So yes, pull it out in one piece, save the reinforcement plates that should be underneath the pads, and sell it if you are not going to use it. I'd ask at least $500 if it is not rusty.

Ha! That's one of the other reasons I wanted to pull it. The front bars block the AC vents and prevent the glove box from opening!

I'd be interested in it if you decide to pull it. While one piece would be ideal, a few well placed cuts may make it easier to move/ship. If you decide, pm me and maybe we can work something out.
