What are these clips for?

About to wrap up my front disc brake swap on my '64. Got the kit with the drop spindles from ECE. I have these clips left over and wondering where they go. Been a long time since i changed any brakes. I think they might go on the caliper/pad somewhere. Need help please, dont want to be goin down the road and have a comeapart somewhere.
Thanks..
