I took half a Camaro and half a Silverado to a can and bottle type recyler that also takes steel as long as its over 40lbs. It was pretty obvious what these parts were, and nobody said anything. They didn't even take my picture. (They take your picture if its building materials like copper pipes, or aluminum/steel type stuff) Two guys were there from a repair or wrecking yard with about 40 empty transmission cases.

I'd just cut it up into 1/4s and sell it to them.

The truck I just brought to scrap, they took everything but the cab. We cut the frame into 3 pieces, and had doors and fenders piled on top. They said that in order to take the cab, even if I cut it into pieces, I would have to have a scrap title for it.

Instead it's going into my neighbor's metal recycling bin at his business.
