Tilt Column Information Needed - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

My brother just picked up a 1983 Burb, that has cruise and tilt, but the wipers are on the dash. When did the wipers get on the column. My 85 pu has them on the column. Was the burb different in the years for changeover or did I miss the boat. The cruise is factory, and I would imagine he might sell the column. Thanks for the info.

The earlier ones made in 83 were on the dash, they were doing the switch to column in that year, his just got caught in the earlier production.
