Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.

New member and can't stop looking to see everything I can find. Great site. I had a 70 CST10 Short Wheel Base truck when I was a teenager and like an idiot I sold it. My grandfather and Uncle had a 71 GMC 4x4 Short Wheel Base truck that I have been trying to buy for the past few years with no luck. My Uncle gave it to his daughter this past Christmas. Her and her husband have started to restore it. I just happen to run across a 72 K5 this past weekend. I went and looked at it Sunday and went back and bought it a couple days later. It is going to be a fun and long project but I love everything about it so far. Nothing special but I really like the medium olive green. Pretty much all the rust repair has been done and it's ready to come off the frame so I plan on starting on the frame and axles and then moving to the underside of the body, then moving to the inside.

Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.

I love the fuel door. Was the fuel door swapped from a similar period pickup? I've always thought the stock fuel cap/neck protrusion was ugly. Is there a "how to conversion" post somewhere?
