Does anyone produce a lower patch panel for a K5 blazer tailgate?

Don't think so. I had the same problem while restoring my '74. Wound up with 3 wreaking yard tailgates and patched the best one with parts and patch panels cut from the others.
Hard finding a nice one that isn't cracked or rusted out.....

Yea, just start combing craigslist for a used, clean one. Best way to do it. You could buy one from LMC but I would assume that's pretty expensive and not OEM.

Found a good solid tailgate, dented in the top. Able to get the repair panel needed.
