anyone install a toyota power steering box in their truck. The type that is similar to the stock box, as far as the output shaft coming out horizontally (not vertically like later year boxes as well as 2wd boxes). Im trying to figure out how to mount this and would like to see other peoples setups to help me make a decision.

the box your looking for is 79'-85' with straight axle and 4wd. the later with ind. are different. hit google images and you will see what you need.

Actually I should of been more clear, I already have one of those power steering box's. I'm in the process of designing a mount for it, that will position it in the stock box location, and tilt it up at a angle so the input is toward the steering column.

I was just wondering what other people have done or what else is required/needed to do this swap.

if my old computer was still around i had many pics of the mount off the internet,very simple.
