Bellcrank Installation

Changing from 292 to 327 engines in my 1966 Chevy C10, how tight does the nut on the end of the bell crank need to be. I just tightened it fairly snug so the bell crank can rotate, after about 10 clutch operations it (the bell crank) popped out of the frame bracket. Should it be torqued down more? Thanks, taclem

Re: Bellcrank Installation

Is there a lock washer under the nut and is the shaft slid into the horizontal slot in the bracket?
