I'll have to look at the size of the 90 dodge rad and see how it will fit in the cradle.

Sorry I don't have the link saved, I'd have to search, but the builder is user Firetoy on nc4x4.com. He's done several swaps so he may be able to help you out.

Here's my 1981 c30 that came out of a local fire dept. It has 22000 original mile..of course I had to make a few changes.shortened frame 5 feet.did a 6.0 ls and 5 speed swap and custom built bed. Just a ol farm truck

I should have never sold it, but honestly it was too big to park at school, and I really wanted a 4x4 which I bought last month. But man that truck was in really good shape and I sold it for next to nothing....

I just got my Grandfather's 73 C30. So far I'm loving it. She run's really great. I'm having a few electrical issues but I should be able to work them out.

Very cool! Especially given your location. That would make a great backcountry camping rig. Any thoughts into doing a custom slide in unit so that the flatbed could still be used when not camping?
