LMC Rear Seat Belts

Anyone used this kit before? We bought it (not cheap!) and they just don't seem like they will work?? I tried to install the passenger side and right where the female buckle bolts to the bracket is right where the seat support rod goes when you rotate the seat up into the cargo carrying position...

Re: LMC Rear Seat Belts

For a K5 or a burb?

Pretty sure that LMC does not sell the weird K5 style rear seatbelts, where the outside portions (male) bolt to the floor and the retractable/female parts attach to the seat. . .

best bet is to find OEM ones, or to replace them all with non-retractable generic (LMC or other) lap seatbelts. . .

Re: LMC Rear Seat Belts

It's for a K5, which they have these listed that they fit. And they would with a non-folding seat. But just don't seem to work with a folding one.

I've looked for a while for a clean tan set of rear belts. I've seen the retractors up for sale but never the male buckles.

What's wrong with the originals? If you're willing to spend some coin, check this out: http://www.ssnake-oyl.com/

I'm planning on trying them out this winter.

Re: LMC Rear Seat Belts

I never had them. I've tried to buy them twice but both times it fell through, or they couldn't get the outside male buckles unbolted and they scrapped the truck. Ugh.

If anyone has tan ones I'm a buyer! LOL.

That site looks great Buffy, if I get some and they are faded I may try them as well!
