Absolutely. Something to be proud of. Parts from all over and now they look like they belong.

When you say tub bolts do you mean like at wheel tubs? If so, all good.
Reason I ask is that Jeep guys call the main body "the tub" and I'd be concerned if you used SS bolts at body mounts. I have some on the core support of my Cutlass that I re-did the front end on a long time ago and learned I need to replace. I didn't realize at the time that the stainless bolts were not up to the strength of chassis bolts.

Re: LS1 into a 73 cheyenne

pics of the final assembly. Brake pads are in there really easy to install or remove there only held by the side studs on the caliper torqued to 40NM. Im going to keep that rear stance as it tucking nicely and still have like 2'' of travel before bottoming out

Thanks. Yes the wheel tubs, I applied a bit of anti seize I know that Stainless bolts can bite in and be difficult to remove.

Re: LS1 into a 73 cheyenne

Thanks everyone, it’s appreciated.
Progress is slow I only get to work on it on sundays. I did manage to align the alternator and space out the water pump cover. I also installed the alternator bullet pulley, and I installed an aluminum coil pack frame and the spark plugs

Re: LS1 into a 73 cheyenne

I was contemplating a fabricated aluminum intake manifold like the Holley sniper, but that would require more mods to install a throttle bracket this had to be done secured bullet proof status and it would require that I redo my fuel delivery up to the fuel rails, at this point I’m done chasing out problems finding solutions to custom fit applications.

Re: LS1 into a 73 cheyenne

You should chrome out the alternator. They can be taken apart easily.
