Exo-Cage body

I supposedly am getting a free 4x4 with title issues, and not registered in years. Not stolen. Just not worth it on many levels to bring back to street legality.

Such as I live in the people republic of california. I have a pre smog C20 title from a rust bucket I had.

How legal is it to have a Exo-Cage as your body? It will have lights, and wipers. So besides not looking much like a square body. Would it be a arrest me now project?

Kinda dangerous using a pink from one vehicle that does not match VIN on body & frame on build vehicle. I'd check DMV on requirements about "special construction" builds.

I agree, it sounds like a good way to get into trouble...

It is quite common out here. The cops never go that far unless you do not have a vin tag present. Then you lie till your horse.
