Dimmer switch diagram
Hey guys.
Anyone knows or has a diagram where i can see how the switch is hooked up, i the switch that gives you hi beams and low beams mounted on the cabs floor |

I think they have moved the diagrams. here is one I saved. The dimmer switch is in the bottom center with a blue tan and green wire going to it. The blue wire comes from the headlight switch and the the tan and green wires go out to the headlights.

Its an 81 but i have it all figured out now, thanks.
I started testing it giving it 12 volts and seeing wich spade gave power, cause i dont have the original light switch nor headlights, bought euro's and wanted to use the same dimmer switch in order to get the high beams and i think im done with the job. 10 years later and this thread is still helping people. Amazing.
My dimmer switch broke last night. High beams only. Forgot what wires went where. Diagram is correct. Thanks! |
